Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in managing all inventory-related activities within the Equipment & Maintenance Division, ensuring adherence to procedures, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating efficient procurement processes. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, provide training on inventory management practices, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visualize, implement, and uphold the company's vision and core values.
• Represent the Purchasing Manager in managing the inventory management systems and processes.
• Establish and maintain an inventory calendar and timeline for key activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize inventory management processes.
• Train team members on the use of inventory tools and systems.
• Maintain regular communication regarding inventory needs and issues.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory, proactively addressing any shortages or excesses.
• Present solutions to inventory concerns.

• Identify duplicate and obsolete products and take appropriate action.

• Ensure data accuracy, research and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services to optimize inventory procurement processes.
• Manage inventory audit process.

Qualifications:

• Independent, proactive, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong computer and office technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.

• Minimum of 2 years of inventory experience.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

• Continual travel to various locations.
• Required to work indoors in warehouse and/or shop environments.
• At times may be required to work outdoors, in all weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely move up to 50 pounds.
• Perform physical tasks while sitting, standing, kneeling or bending.
